The BlueDV is a very small and portable DMR/DSTAR interface.
The goal of this document is to give the reader just enough information to get started operating a D-STAR-capable Icom radio on a local internet-connected D-STAR repeater. But the Windows client works fine on DMR, D-STar, and Fusion.
You just can't connect to Fusion to transmit with the Android client.

Turns out that device uses the same AMBE 3000 chip and FTDI USB interface chip as the Star*DV. The AMBE features added to BlueDV were focused on the Northwest Digital Radio ThumbDV. But it can use the AMBE 3000 chip in the Star*DV.
However, BlueDV does not make use of the Star*DV's codec, audio amp and speaker/mike connector.
